About Us - Our Mission & Vision
Wildfire Entertainment creates innovative and unique performances from concept to completion for corporate and promotional events around the world, with an emphasis on integrating live action with technology.
While the rates and information on this website are specific to events in Singapore, Wildfire is in the process of expanding globally. We have a new office in Australia and further international additions coming in 2019. By leveraging our new act and technology development across multiple markets, we will be able to offer even more advanced acts that previously weren't possible in the MICE industry.
Integrating cutting-edge technology with live performance has been Wildfire’s aim since 2011 and our commitment to utilising new tech in innovative ways drives everything we do.
Our professionalism and attention to detail guarantee the highest-quality event entertainment performances in the industry.
Central to our worldview is the idea that creative and commercial are not mutually exclusive. Every Wildfire Entertainment performance is designed with an experienced and thoughtful creative direction.
Meet the Team
Wildfire Entertainment is the brain-child of this New Zealander who came of age in Singapore and considers Australia home. Rob first studied, then lectured at LASALLE College of the Arts before founding Wildfire Entertainment in 2011. Rob is a skilled actor, singer, and dancer, trained in Musical Theatre and Direction. His commitment to innovation and technology has kept Wildfire at the razor's edge of performance break-through and his business acumen has made Wildfire a financial success after only seven years in the industry. When not directing or performing in Singapore, Rob lives in Melbourne with his partner and their impressive fig trees.
Originally from the United States and raised in Singapore, Chelsea has spent much of her life abroad. From Italy to South Korea, she has performed and taught theatre arts in a variety of locales. A graduate of the University of Houston and alumnus of Teach for America, in 2016 Chelsea returned to Singapore to take on the new challenge of designing and executing a strategic growth plan for Wildfire. Chelsea, her spouse, and their reactive dog reside in Singapore and spend too much time watching Netflix.
Amanda Tay joined the Wildfire team in 2017 after working on productions with Base Entertainment and Dancepointe. A graduate of Nanyang Fine Arts Academy with a diploma in Arts Management and a BA (Hon) in Theatre Arts, Amanda has enjoyed leaving the non-profit arts world and entering the faster-paced (but equally artistic) world of event entertainment. Amanda's expertise in production is invaluable as she takes on the challenges of running the on-site team for our calendar of shows. With a strong dance and theatre background, Amanda brings a wealth of creative understanding to her role.
Nasser bin Bahhari (Nass)
Rounding out the Production Team is Wildfire’s full-time Production Assistant, Nass. Although he cut his teeth at Universal Studios Singapore, Nass brings a diverse portfolio to the team, having also worked at Jurong Bird Park and in the Singapore Police Force. At Wildfire, he works hard to ensure that productions run smoothly. He can often be found in the studio: breaking down choreography for dancers, prepping LuMen suits for rehearsals, or rebuilding a piece of tech for a brand new act. When he isn’t at Wildfire, Nass enjoys dancing and enjoying outdoor adventures with his wife.
Mei Chin Tan
Sales & Marketing Manager
The newest member of Team Wildfire, Meichin Tan is a digital marketer with a flair for customer service. Meichin graduated from the University of Queensland and her international experience gives her valuable insight into interactions with Wildfire’s increasingly global client base. Meichin is a talented dancer and her passion for the arts makes her the perfect person to talk through the finer points of Wildfire acts with potential clients. Meichin lives in Singapore with her husband and their dog, Kobe.
